The Bible Version Controversy: A Brief History of The War over God’s Eternal Written Word

The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.” Psalm 12:6-7

A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.” Galatians 5:9

Prove all things; hold fast to that which is good.1 Thessalonians 5:21

Yea, hath God said…?”   Satan to Eve, and the textual critics to the world. The most destructive lie ever told lives on….  Genesis 3:1b

I used to dismiss the King James Version of the English Bible entirely. I thought of it as a ridiculous and outdated translation – an anachronism at best. I viewed it as a shabby antique – one that belonged under a half-inch of dust in my grandmother’s attic….but then I studied the history of current English Bible translations in great detail, and realized that ALL of the new versions use corrupt and purposely adulterated Greek manuscripts, which water down the eternal word of the living God…every last one of them. That Greek your pastor often refers to in church? It flows from corrupt Greek manuscripts first edited by the gnostic, self-castrating “scholar” Origen (and a student of his work, Eusebius), who believed in purgatory, universalism, that all human souls have existed from eternity past, that satan (and demons) would eventually be redeemed, and that Jesus did not actually return to earth in the flesh after his resurrection.

The manuscripts Origen compiled and edited in Alexandria, Egypt in the 200’s, form the two primary Greek manuscripts (Codex Vaticanus, and Codex Siniaticus) used by Westcott & Hort, Nestles & Aland and the United Bible Society to make all of the modern English Bible versions. These manuscripts were more or less hidden from view from the late 300’s until the 1400’s (1800’s in the case of Siniaticus, when it was found in a trash bin at the St. Catherine’s monastery in Egypt)…hardly making them the word of the Lord preserved from generation to generation per Psalm 12 (see above).

In the 1800’s, Westcott & Hort, two Anglican clergy men and open occultists, whose own letters expose their veneration of Darwin and the Catholic Church, their love of seances and their total disregard for Eden, Heaven, the flood and the cross, made their own Greek New Testament manuscript. This new manuscript cleverly deleted out, added in or simply rephrased whatever scriptures they thought they could get away with without causing a furor …verses and passages that lined up with their “enlightened” thinking and, not surprisingly to anyone who has studied the Bible version issue, their changes almost always lined up with catholic doctrine.

Westcott & Hort did expect some push back on their changes even back then…but they heard hardly a peep (Dean John Burgon’s vigorous dissent was an exception). Leading men loved these brilliant, iconoclastic lies shrouded in the dense and deceiving fog of “scholarship.”

It is important to note that all of this information regarding Westcott & Hort’s beliefs is gleaned exclusively from their personal correspondence, published by their children after their deaths. That is the only way we know these key facts about their unbiblical beliefs, reverence for Darwin, Rome and the occult, and their motives for changing the scriptures…and we are all reading and teaching from their Bibles.

The first English translation to flow from Westcott & Hort’s so-called “critical Greek text” was the 1901 Revised Version. Subsequently, Their Greek manuscript (with additional changes made by the Nestles and Åland committee and the UBS, also using Siniaticus and Vaticanus) was used as the foundation for EVERY single new version. It is deeply, deeply corrupt, and if one examines charts with the actual departures from the Textus Receptus and the KJV (I have added links to charts at the end of my article), I can assure you that he or she will see through this brilliant plan to weaken God’s unchanging word, and turn eternal concepts into temporal ones (the famed Jeremiah 29:11 is but one example of a spiritual promise turned into a temporal one in the new versions). I, personally, was both shocked and disgusted by the numerous substantive changes to my Bible, yet… I do concede that the modern versions are a bit easier to read and understand due to more familiar language. The new version translators  (and satan) knew all too well that this generation would take ease of reading and the lofty and pretentious claims of scholarship over the sharp double-edged sword of truth. I did for over 25 years.

The KJV detractors, and there are many since satan despises it, attempt to denigrate the 54 scholars who jointly worked on the KJV, with their subjective and pseudo-intellectual textual criticism. Many of the translators were brilliant men, with sterling, easily verifiable scholarly backgrounds (I have seen all of their CV’s)…men such as Lancelot Andrews, George Abbot, John Aglionby and the head of the OT committee, Dr.John Bois, who was reading and writing in Hebrew at age 6. All of the criticism of the KJV on intellectual grounds is pseudo-academic nonsense. The KJV is hated because it stands as the preserved word of God, starting in Antioch and then spreading all over the world, only to be gathered together by the brilliant catholic-defying scholar Erasmus in the 1500’s. Luther, Wycliffe, Tyndall, Coverdale, the Geneva Bible translators and many more used his Greek manuscript family (known as the Textus Receptus, Byzantine Text, Majority Text or Traditional Text) and since satan couldn’t burn all of the copies…he decided to change the Bible from the inside, using proud men, far too “enlightened” to believe many of the “superstitions” of God’s word. Noted occultist/ theosophist Helena Blavatsky (a favorite of Adolph Hitler, and publisher of the periodical “Lucifer”) and her disciple Alice Bailey, have openly discussed satan’s ultimate plan to infiltrate the church from the inside…and the Bible was a perfect place to start.

I understand that the language of the KJV is old fashioned at times, and most seminarians and Bible college graduates will have a dismissive attitude towards it. Why? Because the vast majority of seminaries and Bible schools are part of the ecumenical, watered-down gospel machine (even Dallas Theological Seminary is waxing emergent). Yes…satan, the father of pride, works everywhere – but especially in academia. Men love to know better than other men because they went to this school or that school and studied under this professor or that one. Satan was and is counting on the pride of men to weaken God’s word by imparting to them limited, but “scholarly” knowledge, in order to proliferate his altered Greek manuscripts and thus, his modern Bible versions. The apostle Paul specifically noted that he was not unaware of satan’s clever schemes to deceive men. 2 Corinthians 2:11.

As for the new versions having older manuscripts…that is technically true in a general sense, because the Alexandrian manuscripts were written on higher quality papyri/vellum at their well-funded gnostic schools, and because they weren’t frequently handled for over a thousand years…since almost no one took them seriously outside of Vatican City until the 1800’s. The Antioch manuscripts (Textus Receptus) from the 200’s were true to the teachings of Jesus Christ and the apostles, yet were on lower quality paper, because the  early church wasn’t wealthy – and they were sent all over the world by foot and by ship, which exposed them to the elements. They were also worn down due to constant usage and thus, were recopied time and time again…unlike the gnostic manuscripts, which were hardly used at all. Despite those facts, the earliest New Testament manuscript surviving today is an Antiochan(TR) Syrian translation, called the Syrian Peshitto, which dates to circa 157 AD. So…even the “oldest manuscripts” argument, often used to support the corrupt Alexandrian Greek texts, fails.

Kurt Aland, co-author of several late editions of the Nestles & Aland Greek New Testament text, and a vigorous KJV detractor, admits that early copies of Textus Receptus manuscripts are non-existant (besides the Syrian Peshitto) because they were intentionally destroyed by Rome during the brutal Diocletian persecution(303-311 AD), along with unfavorable weather conditions in Asia Minor and Greece. Once the Roman persecution of believers ended circa 311 AD, there was, naturally, an explosion of new Textus Receptus manuscripts prepared by actual Bible believing christians such as the Waldensians, in order to make up for all of the copies which had been burned. This explains the sudden appearance of a multitude of Textus Receptus manuscripts in the late 4th Century, and beyond.

Even KJV rejecting scholars agree that well over 99% of all ancient Greek manuscript evidence agree with the KJV, while less than 2% agree with the new versions (the last official count I have seen was 5,321 to 45, which is more like 98% to 2%). Any claim that the new versions are superior is patently false from both a spiritual and scholarly standpoint. Yes, they are easy to read, but they have many deep heresies intended to draw mankind away from many of the simple yet profound truths of God. As Jesus said to his Father in John 17, “Thy word is truth” – but not if his eternal word has been edited by wicked and deceitful heretics, who, like Satan in the garden, boldly and proudly cast doubt on God’s word by proclaiming to the world – “yea hath God said?” The question is: Are you believing that very same lie today?

EPILOGUE

This is by far the most divisive topic I have ever written about because we all love our modern Bibles, and cannot possibly believe that so many people have it wrong. My beloved seminary professor is wrong?? My distinguished and learned pastor?? My youth group leader?? Yes…even him – or her. Everyone talks about this issue as if they understand it, but usually they just understand one side…the anti-KJV side, the side I was once on. It took a trusted friend about 8 months to finally shake me out of my NIV 84 stupor with hard, raw evidence. Once I took time to study the history of the Greek and Latin manuscripts that form the foundation of our Bibles, and then reviewed the specific changes(deletions and additions) in the actual biblical text…I was done with all of my new versions forever (A few of the hundreds of passages with substantive changes: The removal of the compassion of Jesus four times in Matthew,Genesis 30:27, Jeremiah 29:11,Mark 10:24, Luke 4:4, Luke 9:55-56, John 7:8-10{is Jesus a liar??},Acts 8:37, Galatians 5:12, Colossians 1:14, Romans 8:1, 1 Timothy 3:16, 1 John 5:7, and Revelation 1: 6, 8, 11). Sadly, I discovered that my dear NIV – even the one written back in 1984 – was the worst of the lot (the Message doesn’t count because it cannot seriously be called a Bible due to multiple ridiculous and even occultic additions). It was hard to read the KJV at first…but I prayed for help from the Holy Spirit…and now I can’t live without it.

I am not one of those people who believe that one can only be saved via the KJV Bible, or that the KJV is perfectly written. I simply believe that the KJV, whose Greek foundation lines up with over 95% of all ancient manuscripts, according to the most recent studies, is the preserved word of God for this English speaking generation per Psalm 12:6-7. That passage, which I have quoted at the top of this article, was, not surprisingly, edited heavily in the new versions (Septuagint Greek), so that it’s meaning is entirely different. Yea hath God truly said in Psalm 12 that his word would be preserved forever?? Not according to your new version.

After much study, and after hoping against hope to come to a conclusion that allowed me to keep my NIV, my NKJV or even my brand new MEV, I determined, along with countless other men and women far smarter than me, that the only legitimate Greek manuscript used as a foundation for a Bible is the Textus Receptus – and despite the claims of the NKJV and MEV editors, the only true Textus Receptus Bible in English is the KJV.

Unlike the new versions’ Egyptian/gnostic roots, the Textus Receptus flows from the spirit-fed spring of the early believers in Antioch…all the way to London in the 1600’s. Do the new versions have many things right? Of course. What satan does best is weave darkness and light together, so that the two cannot be distinguished. He has done a brilliant job with the new Bible versions…yet with an open heart and mind, along with a willingness to exchange comfort and familiarity for truth, his scheme can be defeated. I challenge everyone who reads this, to study the actual textual changes for themselves, in context, ignoring ad hominem attacks on those who have exposed this scheme…for there are many, and they are often nasty. John 15:18-19 warned us that if we were of Jesus Christ, the world would hate us…and nowhere is that more evident than in the battle for God’s eternal voice to mankind. The very truth of His preserved word to this and every succeeding generation is at stake. Yea hath God said? Yes. He did actually, and you can read his words to the world, preserved for eternity, in your King James Bible.

Revelation 22:18-19

18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

***The 1960 Reina Valera is an excellent Spanish Textus Receptus Bible.

***Please remember that if you look up the changed/corrupted verses in the Greek online, chances are very high that the only Greek you can find is the Westcott & Hort/Nestles & Aland/UBS Greek, which is where the corrupted verses originated and metastisized. Unless you check the verses in a verifiable Textus Receptus (TR) Greek (and several people who have dedicated their lives to study this issue say that there are no true TR’s online) you are using the corrupt Westcott & Hort/Nestles & Aland Greek. Even some of the supposed online TR manuscripts have been intentionally altered, as has the new supposed TR Bible, The Modern English Version (and the New King James for that matter). Now why would anyone  try trick good Christian men and women into reading a Bible that we thought was based on the TR but really isn’t? As Paul said in a verse I cited above, we are not unaware of satan’s devices.

****Why is your ESV different then your NASB, which is different than your NIV? The answer…is ca$h. In order to receive a copyright on a new version, the law requires that it be 20% different than all other versions. So, the editors of the new versions simply grab a thesaurus and go to work, changing whatever words they can and rephrasing other passages. Do we really need all of these new versions? Of course not – but the editors and publishers want your money and are more than happy to nip, tuck and carve up God’s eternal word to get it…and the plan seems to be working well.

If one studies the history of the KJV’s translation process, it is clear that prayer played a very large role. Furthermore, the translators never profited from its sale.

***Mark of the Beast Issue***

The ESV, NIV, NASB, etc. all say that the mark of the beast will be “on” your hand, like a scannable tattoo (See, Revelation 13:16). The KJV, however, says that the mark is “in” your right hand or forehead. “In” and “on” are not the same things, and thus, someone is lying to us. I believe that the ESV etc. will be used to try and prove to people that the implantable chip we will all be required to have, is not the mark…when actually it is. The smoke of the torment of those who are tricked into taking the mark…will ascend forever. Throw away your new versions and tell everyone you know to do the same. I wrote a brief article on this issue: The Mark of the Beast: a Warning

  1. Thank you for sharing this. It is great. I would warn against Gail Riplinger, I guess she is controversial. I have posted this article as a link on my latest post. Thank you for reading and liking it. May we stay faithful to Christ. Amen!

    1. Gail has had some well documented family struggles for sure – but much of her research is incomparable. She was the first to expose in detail, the plan to undermine the church by theosophists aka luciferians. She nailed Westcott & Hort on their occult involvement(via their own quotes contained in their personal correspondence complied by their children) and made it known to the world. Her charts showing the actual doctrinal changes infuriated the enemies of God – and they have come after her with a vengeance…and she has made many mistakes in life as well, as we all have. Her enemies gloat over her and try to discredit her – yet her research stands tall.
Thanks for sharing my post on your excellent website and giving me an opportunity to vent on the unwarranted Riplinger hatred. 🙂

      1. Sola Scriptura – Thank you so very much for standing up for our sister “in Christ Jesus our Lord” Gail Riplinger – Yes, she has had ‘family issues’

        – But so did King David, for he was an adulterer and a murderer – but he repented of his sins – and “the Lord God omnipotent” called him “a man after his own heart” – and he wrote many of the Psalms !

        – And also Saul of Tarsus, for he persecuted unto the death many people who were followers “of that way” – but he was truly “converted” and became “our beloved brother Paul” who is “the apostle of the Gentiles” – and he wrote nearly 1/2 of the New Testament !

As the Apostle Paul was inspired to write:
“What then? are we better than they?
        No, in no wise:
        for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
        As it is written,
There is none righteous, no, not one:
        There is none that understandeth,
there is none that seeketh after God.
They are all gone out of the way,
        they are together become unprofitable;
there is none that doeth good,
        no, not one.”
        (Romans 3:9-12 ~ AV)

  2. I would not hold one version up too much above another among the main ones although there are poor ones. And everyone is to be respected for their own personal choice on what they read and study. There is no bible translation done from the text of the original writers and one can find inconsistencies in every version. Just today as I was researching the ERV I read a ‘proof’ of this “satanic” translation. [ He says – ERV Falsely Uses “Passover” in Acts 12:4 Instead of Correct Word, “Easter” ] What?? This man is making the words used in the KJV the original inspired words and how dare the ERV translate it differently to the KJV. This is a very silly ‘proof’ and Easter is not the correct word. The Greek word ‘pascha’ for passover, according to Strongs concordance linked with the KJV comes 29 times in the NT. 28 times the KJV translates that Greek word as ‘passover’. Once as Easter. I cannot figure why. Some Greek words can have several meanings and be translated differently but to be consistent the translators of the KJV should have kept ‘passover’ in this verse. That is pure logic from a translation point of view. The ERV translated the Greek word correctly in this instance and no doubt others. Best not to shout too loudly from any side of the fence eh!

    1. I think we all just need to be aware of who edited our Bibles and why. It is not in dispute that Gnostics edited the manuscripts used in every single new version today (to line up with their views) in the 200 and 300’s, and then two open occultists who hated much Bible doctrine edited your Bible in the 1800’s. I’ll go with the 47 Kjv translators and the 95% text over the gnostic 5% text.
There is an excellent reason for the Pascha/Easter translation. Passover had already taken place for that year(April 14, and they were in the time just AFTER the Passover – the days of unleavened bread. Passover wasn’t for another year) but the pagan fertility festival of Ishtar aka Easter, had not yet happened but was about to happen(this festival was symbolized by rabbits, who are well known for reproductive proclivities, and playboy magazine derived its logo from that pagan symbol of unbridled sexuality). So…instead of the 47 translators being ignorant dimwits who accidentally mistranslated it…they actually got it right.
The whole translation issue is a spiritual battle. Satan wants the youth who don’t understand sound doctrine to see that homosexuality isn’t strongly condemned in the new versions, Jesus may or may not actually be God, and Catholic traditions are affirmed. Either one sees this plan…or not. I don’t want a Bible in my hands touched by Westcott & Hort. I suggest watching some of the videos I linked if you are truly interested in finding the truth and using the best version out there. It does matter and we must not blind ourselves due to comfort or prejudice. I was hugely anti KJV and argued over this issue with my wife for months…but as an attorney, I was persuaded by cold, hard, strong (overwhelming actually) evidence.
There are plenty of nutty Kjv people out there. That is one of the reasons why I was so dismissive of the whole version issue. The Kjv seemed ridiculously old fashioned and used only by grumpy old lechers. Well, I was wrong and I am deeply and permanently in the Kjv camp…and I am happy to tell the world what a fool I was for ignoring the overwhelming evidence that men who despised the cross and many biblical truths…edited my Bible(and yours).

  3. Reblogged this on Undeserved Mercy, Love, and Grace and commented:
I’ve been researching this myself and absolutely agree!! What’s even more astonishing and heartbreaking is that for the first 1500 years of all Christians understood that only death dissolves a marriage and that Jesus clearly spoke an exception “fornication” which all knew and understood (prior to Erasmus) that fornication is not something that can ever be committed after marriage. After marriage it is called adultery. Jesus clearly spoke that all who divorce and “remarry” while their covenant spouse is still alive are indeed in sin-ongoing adultery. Just like every other sin, it must be repented of and forsaken. Divorce is an act of unforgiveness. To think that there is a sin that justifies unforgiving bitterness and hate and promotes ongoing adultery, discord, and ongoing unforgiveness is not biblically sound. Many pastors have accepted exception clauses and even promote them Bc they’ve been indoctrinated by the recent teachings of seminaries who sadly depend on these corrupt texts for truth. Not only Christians, but even 25 Greek and Roman early church leaders were in unison in their writings when explaining 1 Cor 7:10-11, Mark 10:1-12, Matthew 5:27-32, 19:1-12, LUKE 16:18 (ever so clear), Eph 4&5, and so forth. Jesus didn’t misspeak when he listed fornication and adultery as two separate sins with the others that can keep a person out of heaven. Paul reiterated all that Jesus taught as well….all Scripture is God-breathed. Recall in Jeremiah 3 that the Lord called for repentance regardless of a divorce decree and calls Israel to “return To Me for I am your Husband.” It amazes me that Deut 24:1-4 was never what Christ went to, but plainly stated marriage was permanent according to the vows God is a witness to Gen 2:24, Mal 2:16 and exposed the real issue was “hardened hearts”
Let us not be fooled any longer by the corrupt scheme of the devil and research the truth.
Gen 45, Joseph mirrors forgiveness which needs to be our example today, but more importantly, we need to heed to Christ’s teaching 70×7….this commandment applies to our spouses. All the times Jesus says, “But I say to you….” is worth examining for those who still argue that they are in a “marriage” which the Lord calls adultery. To repent means to turn away, you can’t remain in sin and believe that it is God’s will for you to remain in it. For those who believe this, they are saying that adultery is actually the one sin that does not require repentance! Peace to you all.

    1. Thanks for the comment.
I’m pretty hardcore about divorce and remarriage. I do think it’s clear in Matthew 5:32 that if your spouse cheats on you, then you are free to divorce them and remarry, but not in any other circumstance.

    WHAT ITS NOT ABOUT

It’s not about Gail Riplinger. Nor is it about “KJVOnly” whatever that is.
Nor is it about “dynamic translation”.
All of these are red herrings. Some of these things seem to play directly into the hands of those who would ridicule those like yourself who want to defend God’s Word.

WHAT IT IS ABOUT – PRESERVATION

The only issue is Preservation. Did God preserve his words in the New Testament Greek. Or not?

There seem to be very, very few in the evangelical community (whatever that is) who believe that God can and has preserved his Words. Compare these

    “Evangelical church a”:
Scripture. (2 Tim 3:16) The Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God, the only infallible rule of faith and practice. It contains the whole counsel of God

    “Evangelical church b”:
The Bible is the written word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error in the original manuscripts.

With this from a typical confession from the Protestant Reformation:

The Old Testament in Hebrew (which was the native language of the people of God of old), and the New Testament in Greek (which at the time of the writing of it was most generally known to the nations), being immediately inspired by God, and by his singular care and providence kept pure in all ages, are therefore authentical; WCF 1,VIII

The apostasy on this point is so widespread that people don’t even see it – nor will the accept it if they are questioned. This crosses all boundaries – reformed, arminian, baptist, presbyterian, lutheran, confessional, bible-only, etc.

If you can’t trust the Bible you hold in your hand, than you are a sorry, sorry Christian. Thankfully, my God preserves his Word, and had it faithfully translated into English in the King James Bible. Let God be true and every man a liar. Even professing Christians.

      1. Sola Scriptura – And – it is not only Gail Riplinger who is being attacked in many lying and constantly increasingly viciousness and sheer malevolence
        – but against all (or nearly all) of us who have chosen “by faith” to publicly make known our belief in “the certainty of the words of truth” ~ as they are written in “the word of the Lord” ~ as they are Divinely preserved in the English language ONLY IN the Holy Bible [AV]

A true brother “in Christ Jesus our Lord” of mine from Britain made the very telling comment several months ago
        – that we are now living in the generation when it is now ‘fashionable’ to embrace the occult
        – BUT it is very unfashionable to truly believe “the word of God”

        – So – It is increasingly ‘unpopular’ to actually dogmatically believe that
“Every word of God is pure:
he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.”
        (Proverbs 30:5-6 ~ AV)

      2. Amen. I have “friends” who mock me and push me away for daring to discuss the difference between the two Bible foundations – Antioch and Alexandria. The evidence is clear…one foundation is rock and the other is sand. History and textual changes tell the tale loudly and clearly…As much as I loved my NIV 84, it is absolute, unadulterated trash, as are all of the new versions. I can prove it in about 20 minutes, and I bet you can too. 🙂

    2. I totally agree, I am so tired of protestant evangelical churches hiding behind that statement of the original manuscripts, it truly is about preservation. I would like one of these churches to show me a verse that said God does not preserve his word, because I can show them versus very clearly that says God does preserve his word forever. Let’s start with some psalm12:6&7.

      1. Amen. Sadly, most seminarians love the pseudo academic criticism of the 47 outstanding and brilliant scholars who translated the KJV. Slander, pride, along with an ignorance of true biblical manuscript history, have allowed satan’s false Bibles to reign. It is not a close call.

  6. Against the backdrop of these passages of scripture the disciplined reader should take pause.

Love never fails; but whether there be prophecies, they will fail; whether there be tongues, they will cease; whether there be knowledge, it will vanish. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when what is perfect is come, then what is imperfect will come to an end. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a mirror darkly; but then face to face. Now I know in part; but then I will know even as I am also known.

And now remain faith, hope, love, these but the greatest of these is love.

Three things here to illuminate. One is that all knowledge will vanish, second is we all know in part and we prophecy in part, third is the greatest of these things is love.

What is he actually saying here? And why should take pause.

OK lets take knowledge first. Staying inside the lane of the bible as it was written aside from all of the noise in the channel around the thousands of gutter balls running down along the lane of the bible.

Lets examine just two passages or what can be seen as book ends of scriptures to inform us who have partial knowledge or see in part.

One is Revelation 10:8-11 and the other is Daniel 12:4. I can assure you that these are in all of the “contested versions” which are in distribution throughout the world.

Daniel is told during the zenith of the Babylonian empire to:”But you, Daniel, seal these words and be silent, and seal this book even to the time of the end; many will want to know the end, and knowledge will be increased.Dan.12:4.

Here is the other book end of this theology.

And the same voice which I had heard from the skies spoke to me again saying, Go and take the little scroll, which is open in the hand of the king which stands on the sea and on the land. And I went to the king, and as I was about to say to him, Give me the little scroll, he said to me, Take it and eat it; and it will make your belly bitter, but it will be sweet as honey in your mouth. So I took the little scroll out of the hand of the king, and ate it; and it was sweet as honey in my mouth; but as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. Then he said to me, You must prophesy again about many peoples and nations and the heads of nations and kings.

Do you see that we all have been ingesting what can only be called ‘ Sealed Bibles”. Partial knowledge and seeing and prophesying in part.

Now do not attempt to get me to choke on a gnat by throwing the passage of scripture in Rev. 22:18 where it states”I testify to every man who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll, If any man will add to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this scroll; and if any man will take away from the words of the scroll of this prophecy, God will take away his portion from the tree of life and from the holy city and from the things which are written in this scroll.

Yes this is referencing what is contained in the little scroll. Not the sealed book from Daniel.

Truly a time to step back and reflect as to what is coming on the earth soon not because it is to unseal what was sealed but because of the greatest thing Paul penned about which is the greatest…. love.

    1. I’m not sure your point my man. The new versions have deleted out or edited hundreds of verses….yes hundreds, which explain sin, repentance and the sound doctrine of Jesus. Men will be and are being led far from the love of Christ expressed thru his death in the cross for our sin, due to edited bibles…bibles written by the very men Jesus spoke of clearly in Rev. 22. Rev. 22 says what it says – and it is not ambiguous. Therefore, I will fight against wicked gnostic and Catholic oriented bibles until my last breath is gone.

      1. Here is the back story pertaining to the subject of sealed bibles( book).Isa. 29

1Woe to Ariel, to Ariel, the city where David lived. Add year to year; let them keep festivals. 2Yet I will distress Ariel, and there will be heaviness and lamentations; and it will be to me as Ariel.

3And I will camp against you all around, and I will lay a siege against you with ramparts, and I will raise forts against you. 4And you will be brought down, and will speak from the land, and your words will be low out of the dust, and your voice will be heard from the ground like that of a diviner, and your speech will whisper out of the dust.

5Moreover, the multitude of your oppressors will be like fine dust, and the multitude of the terrible ones will be as the chaff that passes away; yes, it will be in an instant, suddenly. 6You will be visited by Yahvah of hosts with earthquakes, thunder, and great noise, with storm and tempest and the flame of devouring fire. 7And the multitude of all the nations that fight against Zion, even all the armies and multitudes that distress her, will be as a vision in the night. 8And it will be, even as when a hungry man dreams that he is eating, and when he awakes he is weary and famished; or as when a thirsty man dreams that he is drinking, but when he awakes, he is faint, with his thirst not quenched; so will be the multitude of all the nations that fight against mount Zion.

9They are dumbfounded and amazed; they are troubled and stagger; they are drunk, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink. 10For Yahvah has poured out on them a spirit of deep sleep, and it has closed their eyes, and also the eyes of the prophets and rulers, and the seers, who see the hidden things.

11And the vision of all is become to them as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one who is learned saying, Read this, and he says, I cannot; for it is sealed; 12and the book is given to him who is not learned saying, Read this, and he says, I am not learned.

13Therefore master said, Since this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips honor me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their reverence toward me is taught by the precepts and doctrine of men; (41.15:8, 42.7:6) 14therefore look, I will proceed to set apart this people by a great wonder, and in a marvelous manner, and the wisdom of their wise men will perish, and the understanding of their prudent men will be taken away. (50.1:19)

15Woe to those who act perversely to hide their counsel from Yahvah; and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who sees us? Who knows what we do corruptly? 16Surely you are esteemed as the potter’s clay; for will the work say of him who made it, He did not make me, or will the thing formed say of him who formed it, He has not fashioned me wisely? (53.9:20)

17Look, a little while, and Lebanon will be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field will be reared as a forest. 18And in that day, the deaf will hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind will see out of darkness and obscurity. 19The meek will also increase their joy in Yahvah, and the needy will rejoice in the holy one of Israel. 20For the oppressor is brought to nothing, and the scorner is consumed, and all that incite to iniquity are cut off, 21those who cause men to sin by the word, and lay a snare for him who reprimands, and turn aside the righteous into darkness.

22Therefore, Yahvah who saved Abraham, says concerning the house of Jacob, Jacob will not be ashamed now, nor will his face grow pale now. 23But when his sons see the work of my hands in the middle of him, they will sanctify my name and sanctify the holy one of Jacob and will glorify the god of Israel. 24The foolish ones whose spirit also erred will come to understanding, and fools will learn to be obedient.

      2. I still don’t understand your point. Heaven and earth will pass away…but his word will never, ever pass away. Thus, I reject all versions edited by men who despise sound doctrine and love seances.

      3. ALL Doctrines in circulation at this juncture of time are edited by man aka sealed bibles. Which are being unsealed per rev 10.

      4. I’ll trust the words of Moses,David, Isaiah, Jesus and the apostles with great delight. Psalm 12 and 1 Peter 1:23-25 say it all. The ONLY way can can OBJECTIVELY know God is through his written word. Otherwise anyone can make up a Jesus to conform to their sin, as we see with Joel Osteen, Copeland, Jakes, Dollar, the Catholic Church and Islam
to name a few. They ignore the word to fulfill their wicked desires. The word tells us who God is. Our deceitful hearts tell us what we want to hear…things that puff us up or make us wealthy. You are deceived if you believe anything else.

  7. So, since I’m learning Greek, where do suggest I look for an uncorrupted, reliable Greek manuscript? Seriously, where can I find one other than the Westcott & Hort translation? I have an Interlinear Greek/English New Testament, but the problem is it’s an NIV which I distrust. I find myself going back to the KJV for reference and study, but I still want a reliable Greek NT. I would appreciate your recommendations.

    Thank you.

    1. The Trinitarian Bible Society can send you a hard copy TR. I’ve talked to them on the phone and they are hoping to put one online soon. 616-735-3695 The current online TR’s are not reliable.
Cambridge University Press also published a KJV TR put together by Dr. Fredrick Scrivner back in 1891 I think. See if you can find one of those online. That would be best. Let me know what you find.

  8. I want to thank you for taking a stand on the right side of the Bible version issue. Many years ago the Lord put a call upon me to research and write on this matter. I have written two books on this issue. I offer these two book for FREE on my website.

    http://www.paulbenson.me

They are available in PDF, E-pub, and Kindle formats.
The first, ‘Is the Bible you read: The True Sayings of God?’, is a reference manual showing nearly 500 alterations to the new bibles with commentary. It is a comparative examination of 10 popular versions.
The second is a EZ-Read (88 page) condensed version: ‘Should the be Changing the Holy Bible?’.

    Blessings

    1. Thanks man. I’ll check it out. It was a war to even get me to investigate the issue since I adored my NIV. Now anything g other than the Kjv makes me ill.
It sounds like you have some great charts, so I will probably link your article to mine. It is z blessing to meet others on the narrow path, who have also uncovered satan’s brilliant scheme to destroy the word of God from the inside. Thanks for commenting my man.

      2. Interesting. I’ll check it, hopefully this week. I have some fairly well developed thoughts on the issue as well, and recently changed from what I thought was an immovable position on the issue. I look forward to checking out your writings.

  9. Here is a specific illustration of the terrible dangers of the changes that “Satan”, who is a “SUBTIL”, CUNNING, ‘MASTER COUNTERFEITER’ has moved proud men and women to make in the 400+ other Bible ‘new’ ‘so called – ‘more accurate’ – ‘better’ – ‘more literal’ translations – editions – revisions – versions – updates – paraphrases in the English language listed (as of 4 Dec 2015) @ http://www.net-comber.com/bible-year.html

That which has been intentionally and lyingly so called the ‘new King James Version’ Bible is – in my personal opinion – one of the most DANGEROUS English language Bibles
    – for the ‘nkjv’ HAS NO legitimate relation to “the certainty of the words of truth” ~ as they are written in the Holy Bible [AV] ~ the ‘King James Version’

This is most certainly “the truth” for those few and ever-fewer of us who are truly Biblically “born again” believers and followers of “our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ” who have personally “by faith” made the choice to believe “the certainty of the words of truth” ~ as they written in the Holy Bible [AV] ~ that:
“Every word of God is pure:
he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.”
    (Proverbs 30:5-6 ~ AV)

    – In the ‘nkjv’ it is perversely written in 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12;
‘And for this reason God will send them strong delusion,
that they should believe THE LIE,
that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.’

~ In the Holy Bible [AV] “the certainty of the words or truth” are written in 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12:
“And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion,
that they should believe A LIE:
That they all might be damned who believed not the truth,
    but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

    – FOR – The specific words ‘THE LIE’ ARE NOT written in the Holy Bible [AV]

    – BUT – The specific words “A LIE” are written 6 + 6 + 6 = 18 times

    In the OLD Testament [AV] “A LIE” = 13 times – {13 is the Biblical number of “rebellion”}
First instance: Psalm 62:9 | Last instance: Zechariah 10:2

In the NEW Testament [AV] “A LIE” = 5 times:
    John 8:44 | Romans 1:25 | 2 Thessalonians 2:11 | Revelation 21:27, 22:15

Oh what a difference ‘JUST’ ONE WORD makes – “a” ~ vs – ‘the’
    – which shows “the truth” – that “Lucifer”, “the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan” and his evil malevolent followers attack from many different directions, manners, times, etc . . . . . .
    – And about the arch-enemy of all men’s souls “the certainty of the words of truth” are written in the Holy Bible [AV]:
“Ye are of your father the devil,
and the lusts of your father ye will do.
He was a murderer from the beginning,
and abode not in the truth,
because there is no truth in him.
    When he speaketh A LIE,
    he speaketh of his own:
    for he is A LIAR,
    and the father of it.”
    (John 8:44 ~ AV)

    Also –
    “A LIAR” is written in the Holy Bible [AV] 13 times – {13 is the Biblical number of “rebellion”}
    – but – ‘THE LIAR’ IS NOT written in the Holy Bible [AV]

    – CAPITALization of “A LIE” and “A LIAR” ~ as they are written in the Divinely preserved “words of the Lord” in the Holy Bible [AV] are mine – Bro. Nick
